I decided to make a tribute to genre I once liked so much. So here we go, a brief history/evolution of trance music across two decades. I decided to go with 2 tracks per year as there was just too much to miss with only 1 track per year. If you think I overlooked some important trance tunes just let me know, I'm open to suggestions and I'm willing to tweak and maintain the video. Here is the list of all tracks: 1990: Age of Love - Age of Love 1990: Dance 2 Trance - We Came In Peace 1991: Future Sound of London - Papua New Guinea 1991: Phobia - Phobia 1992: Underworld - Thing in a Book 1992: Jam & Spoon - Stella 1993: Humate - Love Stimulation 1993: Orbital - Halcyon & On & On 1994: Paul Van Dyk - For An Angel 1994: Hallucinogen - LSD 1995: Underworld - Born Slippy 1995: Union Jack - Red Herring 1996: Astral Projection - Mahadeva 1996: Robert Miles - Children 1997: Hybrid - Finished Symphony 1997: BT - Flaming June 1998: Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar (Three N' One Mix) 1998: Art of Trance - Madagascar 1999: Sasha - Xpander 1999: Chicane - Salt Water 2000: Ferry Corsten - Barber's Adagio for Strings 2000: Alibi - Eternity 2001: Tiesto - Suburban Train 2001: Push - Strange World 2002: James Holden - A Break In The Clouds 2002: Tiesto & Junkie XL - Obsession 2003: Motorcycle - As The Rush Comes 2003: Scott Bond vs Solarstone - 3rd Earth 2004: Infected Mushroom - Cities of the Future 2004: Super8 - Alba 2005: Sander Van Doorn - Bling Bling 2005: Matt Darey ft. Dec 12, 2011 - 2000 should be "William Orbit - Barber's Adagio for Strings (Ferry Corsten Remix)" NICE!

mrjedidja Says:

Dec 12, 2011 - True. But I didn't want to give any credit to William Orbit as he did absolutely nothing for the track. :P

mrjedidja Says:

Dec 12, 2011 - Might as well rename Tiesto's tracks with their respective "behind the scenes" producers hahaha

DURAMATRIX112 Says:

Mar 28, 2012 - 1998 year should definitely have binary finary's song called 1998! it was such a classic

PERLISWEIRD Says:

Mar 28, 2012 - Actually the version of Age Of Love you use (and we all know and love) is the Jam & Spoon Watch Out For Stella Mix from 1993.

mrjedidja Says:

Mar 29, 2012 - That was always confusing to me!

Nadinetawney Says:

May 13, 2012 - Most songs were ok, but psychedelic was kind of out of place.. It's *not* Trance lol

mrjedidja Says:

May 13, 2012 - how do you mean? do you mean the psy tracks suck or that psytrance isn't trance? if later, then let me break it for you - psytrance is actually the REAL trance. the rest, the so called progressive/anthem/epic/uplifting/euphoric trance ain't trance at all. it simply kept that name for some reason.

Nadinetawney Says:

May 17, 2012 - I should have re-worded that a little. It's just you started with classic/uplifiting trance which pretty much all the songs fit perfectly and was a nice blast in the past! It's just that Psytrance has such a different sound, taste and BPM that it felt a little out of place, that's all :)

mrjedidja Says:

May 21, 2012 - Ah right I see. Yeah, it's a little out of place here and there, could have been done a lot better definitively.
