We traveled from Port Morseby to Wau, the only way is by boat, and then trek across two forests. The boat owner likes to sing. His singing became this video's background music. He told his life stories: His father walked away from his mother when he was a teen. Not having a fatherly figure to look up to while he didn't want to burden his mother, he left home. He made it. He'd say, the most important ingredient of lasting marriage is honesty. "well, when I do wrong things, she corrects me; when she doesn't do well, I will tell her." Along the way, we visited different villages, each has their own beauty and charm.
