The language in the song is Baegu, which is of the Solomon Islands. Because it is an Oceania song it only made sense to get children from Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia and Australia. If you would like to know where a certain picture is from or anything else just ask. :) Most of the pictures, I got off Google and Flickr. They are pictures of Children from Oceania. 2 children from Samoa, 2 from Micronesia, 5 from Vanuatu, 1 from Fiji, 1 from Tonga, 3 from Aotearoa (New Zealand), 2 from Tahiti, 3 from Hawaii, 6 from Papua new Guinea, 18 from Australia, and 12 from Solomon Isands. I wanted to get some from more places like Guam, Cook Islands and stuff but there wasn't much pictures from there and there was only so much room. I hope you like it. Jan 23, 2011 - It is called Sweet Lullaby. It is a very old song but this rendition was made by Deep Forest. The main vocal was a woman from the Solomon Islands named Afunakwa. In Baegu, the language they are speaking, the song is called Rorogwela. It is about a child crying because the parents are no longer around. The older sibling comforts him by singing this song. I hope this helped!

Feb 10, 2011 - Actually none of them are wearing war paint. It's either paint for beautifucation or spiritual reasons. There is not much tribal wars on the islands. On the rare occasion that there is it, is fought with guns and always by adults. 1:14, 2:38 are used during their spiritual practices, nothing more. :21, is an aboriginal boy on a walkabout. The spear is used for balance (the aboriginals stand on one leg sometimes) and to honor their history, not for hunting or fighting.

Aug 4, 2011 - I'm Chamorru from Guam, and I learned that way back in the day, my people would have "wars" with eachother and all the familys would come out and watch. The men would all fight with sticks, and if someone actually got hurt really bad everyone would stop and be like... "Uhh oh... You ok dude?" haha Pacific islander culture is VERY peaceful. It was hard enough just to survive,why worry about fighting LOL My grandpa told me a good saying "Live together, or die alone" THAT'S our mado in Pacific lol
