To remember my son's childhood moments, graduation, and adulthood. Born 21. August 1987 in Infant Jesus Hospital, Dimasalang by Dra. Betty Miller not even 5 lbs., a miracle baby from conception. Born after 8 years of marriage, an only child. Caesarian section done when he was just 5 months in her mother's womb due to a myoma. The baby remained in her mother's womb; mother and baby survived after a week of struggle between life and death; mother holding on to her faith in God, praying that the baby within her could have a chance to be born. Mother set his birth date on 21st of August, 1987, hoping that President Cory Aquino will declare this day henceforth a holiday in honor of her husband, the hero Ninoy...But it could have been too late for the baby...when opened again thru Caesarian section, doctor saw the malnourished baby inside...another miracle that the mother was able to breastfeed the very thin baby, with his bones jutting out....it was a painful to look at him for 4 days in an incubator.... Taken home 4 days after birth due to a coup d'etat against Cory Aquino's government August 25, 1987.. Three months after, the baby's healthy, and mother flew him to Lae, Papua New Guinea so he can say hello to his father...Friends wouldn't believe that the baby is theirs, thought he was adopted,...until they saw mommy breastfeeding him... It was soon evident the baby is intelligent, topping his Nursery class, and becoming an honor student up to college in Don Bosco, Canlubang. The baby was raised to become a pious (like his name, Pius) and devoted Roman Catholic...His mother offered him to be a Knight in the altar of God, then a Lector to proclaim the Word of God, then was evangelized by the NeoCatechumenal Way in our parish of St. Francis of Assisi...His mother had consecrated him to the Lord since birth, had prayed that the Lord will call him to priesthood, but to date, he hasn't discerned what God the Father's plans are for him, but he has made up his mind to become a man of God, to preach God's word, in whatever way... He now works as a Programmer in a small consulting firm, preferring to learn more from his mentor rather than seeking the greener pasture... This is his story....so that when I'm gone, he will remember his mother made this simple video... I love you, my only child.....more than you'll ever know... from mommy
