Tribal life in an isolated highlands village in Papua New Guinea in the 80's. This was part one of a five part series on Papua New Guinea for the Today Show in 1986. Six months before this story was filmed the first landing strip had been installed near the village. Before the airstrip the only way to reach the village was by hiking for several days through the jungle.
